Working with Doctors

Once you and your doctor have chosen a treatment, you will need to do your part to give the treatment a chance to work. This means following instructions your doctor gives you, such as when to take your medications. Make sure you understand what you need to do. Some treatments depend on your following instructions closely.

Self Advocacy - Learn how to take an active role in your post-transplant care.

Recommended Post-Transplant Care - Find guidelines to help you and your doctor schedule your long-term follow-up care after transplant.

Exploring Treatment Options - Learn about your treatment options. The more you know, the better prepared you will be to ask questions, offer suggestions and make informed decisions.
