Searching for an Unrelated Donor or Cord Blood Unit
Physicians can search the Be The Match RegistrySM, operated by the National Marrow Donor Program® (NMDP). The regsitry lists more than 7 million potential donors and nearly 90,000 cord blood units for their patients who need a hematopoietic cell transplant (bone marrow, PBSC, or cord blood transplants — BMT).
