Transplants by Disease Charts

The transplants-by-disease charts show the number of unrelated donor bone marrow and cord blood transplants performed by National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) U.S. transplant centers for each disease treatable by transplant.

The numbers in these charts:
  • Include transplants using marrow, peripheral (circulating) blood or umbilical cord blood
  • Include only transplants that used donors from the NMDP Registry (Some transplant centers may also have done transplants using donors who were family members of the patient or who were from other registries.)
  • Are cumulative from the date the transplant center joined the NMDP Network
  • Are updated quarterly

These charts are organized by broad category of disease, such as leukemias and lymphomas. This information may be useful as a basis for questions and discussion when you talk with your doctor or transplant center coordinator.
