Atlanta’s public radio station previewed the Atlanta Be The One Run, a run walk event that raises awareness and funds for the Be The Match Registry. Tiffany Friesen of Be The Match Foundation provided details on the event, and explained the need for more potential donors on the registry. She noted that most people in need of a transplant do not have a suitable matching donor in their family, so they turn to the registry to find a cure.
