Twin Cities, MN Minneapolis transplant recipient Betsy Lucas and Be The Match representative Kristine Reed were featured on KSTP-TV’s Saturday morning news show. Betsy discussed her battle with leukemia and her recent trip to Washington D.C., where she met with Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) and other lawmakers to inspire the continued support of Be The Match.
Kristine explained that most patients find a matching donor in someone with similar racial and ethnic heritage, and described the registration and donation processes.
