“Band” Together with Robin Roberts

AURN reporter Danielle Smith interviewed Be The Match representative Nadya Dutchin about the support that Be The Match has received from ABC’s Good Morning America host
Robin Roberts. Robin is set to undergo a bone marrow transplant in September to treat myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).

Dutchin explained that friends of Robin designed a wristband to show their support during her cancer journey. The wristband reads, “light, love, power, presence”, which symbolizes the Prayer for Protection that Robin’s late mother taught her when she was young. All of the net proceeds from sales of the wristband will benefit Be The Match.
