Through its Delivering the Gift of Life Campaign, the United States Postal Service (USPS) has added 50,000 employees and their family members to Be The Match Registry^®. At least 80 postal employees have been matched to patients and gone on to donate -- giving a patient a second chance at life. In September 2009, the Postal Service was the recipient of the first Rod Carew Award for Leadership and was recognized as having saved more lives through marrow donation than any other business organization in the nation.
