Amgen and the Amgen Foundation have supported Be The Match Foundation^® since 1998. Amgen has demonstrated its commitment to our mission by conducting more than 50 donor recruitment drives, which added more than 1,400 new members to Be The Match Registry^®. Amgen is also a strong supporter of the annual National Marrow Donor Program^® (NMDP) Council Meeting. In 2008, Amgen received the Admiral Zumwalt Corporate Award for demonstrating consistent, committed support through sponsoring tissue typing and/or educational projects that have led to an increased awareness of the NMDP's programs, services and mission.
