American Airlines has supported Be The Match Foundation^® since 1999. American Airlines became aware of the need for marrow donors when the son of an employee needed a transplant. American Airlines stepped forward to make a generous contribution to Be The Match Foundation to cover the cost of adding their employees to the Be The Match Registry^®. Over the past 11 years, American Airlines has held more than 155 drives, adding more than 3,500 employees to Be The Match Registry.
